This week in this we have been learning about tidy numbers and place value.
54+47+?
So I added three too 47 to get 50
Then I added 54 to 50 which is 104
Then I took away the three that I added on which leaves 101
Do you know what place value is?

Hello Eva, I like how you did a visual and mathematical way to show tidy numbers. My favourite strategy is rounding and compensating. Next time you could check your spelling with a teacher.
